Line Cook/Sandwich Makers
This position is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced and customer-service oriented environment. Be prepared to work hard and learn about food, hospitality, and service.
Members of our line/sandwich making team are expected to have some BOH experience with either sandwich making experience or food prep or line cook experience. Experience working with meat slicers a PLUS
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast paced fast casual dining environment (We have an open kitchen with direct access to guests)
- Able to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and FOH staff
- Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- A genuine passion and knowledge for food hospitality
- Memorization of the menu, provides information about products to customers
- Prepares all food orders to Alidoro quality standards
- Set-up, Break-down, Cleans and stocks work area
- Preps ingredients for recipes
- Follows the company operational policies including safety and security procedures, during each shift
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume, providing a positive example for the team
- Sociable and friendly to customers. We believe a positive attitude is your biggest asset!
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Alidoro
- Learn extensive sandwich and salad menu
- Wrap menu item such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts for serving or for takeout.
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
